So... Here we are.
Life is never what you expect it to be and sometimes it's better and sometimes its worse. I believe that you are the one who can determines the quality with your state of mind. If you choose to be negative then that is what reality you create. I am not one of those woo woo people. I just think if you can be positive you can see possibilities and answers that when you are negative you are not able to see.
However that is not really what I want to write about today. Today is the second to last day of the year as we all know. Everyone is thinking about retrospectives of the last year. Should I indulge in one myself??? Why not? So here are the top 10 things that I think of when I think of 2011.
5. T-Mobile's and ATT trying to merge.
Now if you live under a rock I will inform you that it failed. ATT and Deutsche Telecom(the parent company for T-Mobile) decided that it was not worth the fight to keep fighting for the merger. Now I have had both positive and negative thoughts about this happening and I do work for T-Mobile and want to keep my job so I will not go into depth. Leave it to say it was an interesting experience.
4. Moving to the new house
So I now live in no man's land between Milwaukie, Oregon City and Gladstone.. But I love it hear and D does too.. Living with this many people has been a blessing and curse. I enjoy the sound and curse it when I am trying to sleep. But we are all people just trying to find our way.
3. Learning how to cope with mobility issues.
The man my heart belongs to is not always able to walk. He is coping with his own mobility issues and I am trying to be the support and partner he needs. I am not being modest just truthful. For those whose partner is not able body or those that have mobility issues I think you may know this is not as easy as we wish. There is a fine line that must be observed.
2. My Hysterectomy
It was the best thing to happen to me all year! I am so happy the pain is gone. If you actually know me in RL you may have seen the agony I was in, or not. I really tried to hide it. I am sure people could weigh in on both sides.
1. Learning to love myself and my body
As cheesy as it sounds I have discovered my inner beauty and joy. I may need to work on my health but I will always be a sexy beautiful woman and even if others disagree my option is the one that will at the end of the day matter to me.
So those are the things I think about. I really believe on the whole they are positive and will make me a better stronger person.
If you read to this point thanks for staying with me. Invite your comments and thoughts.

I think this is a good start to a great blog. I like your look back at 2011. You've been through a lot this year, most which I totally get. Of course I've never been to your house. Bad friend. Bad bad.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to reading future posts...and coming to your new house.
Hi, I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but is there any chance that if you're not going to keep writing (given that this post is the only one and it dates back to 2011) you can erase this blog? I wanted to use the same domain and now I can't. I wouldn't be asking if it didn't appear to me that you don't write here often or plan to do so. So if you see this could yo please consider doing me that favor? Thanks and if not still thanks
ReplyDeleteSorry I intend to use it.
DeleteI look forward to seeing what you write :)
